Backsafe Manual Handling Training Level 2 (Maintenance Phase)
Once we have completed our initial training program and after 6-12 months of application by the trainee, we recommend that the entire workforce go through a revision program and complete the practical assessment to become truly skilled manual handlers utilising all of the new skills learnt in the Backsafe Manual Handling Program. This training program takes 100 -120 minutes to complete.
Course Content
- A short revision on biomechanics and of how and why manual handling injuries occur.
- Warm up and stretching exercises to avoid soft tissue injuries.
- A practical materials handling assessment skilling workers in becoming highly competent manual handlers.
Who should attend this training?
This course is designed for all general employees and management who are required to carry out manual handling in their day-to-day work and home lives, and is relevant to all industries and workplaces.
How is course content covered?
This practical hands-on course is undertaken face-to-face in the classroom. Due to the interactive nature of this manual handling course, the maximum class size is 20 participants.
